1.Product Introduction
An injector solenoid valve is an electromechanical device used in fuel injection systems to control the precise delivery of fuel into an engine’s combustion chamber or intake manifold. It is a critical component in modern fuel injection systems, found in gasoline (petrol) and diesel engines.
A. How It Works:
1.Electromagnetic Activation – The solenoid valve consists of a coil (electromagnet) and a plunger. When an electric current is applied, the coil generates a magnetic field, pulling the plunger upward.
2.Fuel Injection – The movement of the plunger opens a valve, allowing pressurized fuel to spray through the injector nozzle in a fine mist.
3.Precision Control – The Engine Control Unit (ECU) sends timed electrical pulses to the solenoid, determining how long the valve stays open (injection duration) and when it opens (injection timing).
B. Types of Injector Solenoid Valves:
Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) Solenoids – Used in high-pressure direct injection systems.
Common Rail Diesel Solenoids – Found in diesel engines for precise fuel metering.
Port Fuel Injector Solenoids – Used in traditional multi-point fuel injection systems.
