1.Product Introduction
The Caterpillar C11 engine is an 11.1-liter, six-cylinder diesel engine used in heavy-duty trucks and buses. It uses a common rail fuel injection system to deliver fuel to the injectors. The injectors used in the C11 engine are designed to provide precise fuel delivery and atomization for optimal combustion and engine performance.
The CAT C11 injector consists of several parts, including the injector body, nozzle, valveand solenoid. The nozzle is responsible for spraying the fuel into the combustion chamber, while the valve and solenoid control the flow of fuel into the nozzle. The injector body provides the structure and support for these components.
When the engine’s electronic control module (ECM) sends a signal to the injector, the solenoid opens, allowing fuel to flow through the valve and into the nozzle. The fuel is then sprayed into the combustion chamber, where it mixes with air and ignites to produce power.
