1.Product Introduction

The Denso pump pressure limiting valve is a critical component in high-pressure fuel injection systems, often found in modern diesel engines.
Denso HP3 pump is for passenger cars and light-duty vehicles and HP4 pump for medium-duty vehicles.

The pressure limiting valve (PLV) within this system serves as a safety device to regulate and protect the pump and fuel system from excessively high pressures. If the pressure in the system exceeds a predefined limit, the valve will open to relieve some of the pressure and prevent damage to the pump or other fuel system components. In short, it prevents overpressurization, which could otherwise lead to malfunctions or failures in the engine’s fuel system.
